Things can get really confusing when a death
occurs. The following is a list of items that you will need when making funeral
arrangements.
- Full legal name
- Full legal address
- Place and date of birth
- Place and date of death
- Social Security Number

- Father's full name
- Mother's first & maiden name
- Occupation
- Level of education
- Name, address and telephone number of next of kin
|
If you already own a cemetery plot or entombment space please
bring the deed with you.
If you do not have a burial space, our office will discuss with
you the options and will help you make arrangements to purchase burial space
while you are making funeral arrangements.
If the deceased had life insurance that you will be assigning to
the funeral home as partial or full payment of the funeral bill, please bring
the insurance policy (ies) with you.
We accept and will file claims for most insurance companies.
If the deceased was a veteran or is entitled to be buried in a
veteran cemetery, please bring the appropriate discharge papers with you.
Please bring with you any clothing that you would like the
deceased to be buried in. We require full clothing, including undergarments.
A recent photograph of the deceased is also helpful for
preparation purposes.
